Mountains inspire us!
MIUT (Madeira Island Ultra Trail) is a mountain race that offers its participants with a unique experience crossing the island’s highest peaks/mountains, a sports event to be held on April, 17th 2021.
The 2019 edition had a total of 2600 participants and 45 different nationalities, congregating some of the main national and international athletes of reference in this field.
This competition covers the areas of Porto Moniz and Machico crossing the island’s best tracks, including the central massif – Encumeada – Ruivo Peak (1861 m) – Areeiro Peak –, in a very challenging circuit of about 115 km.
